The events will be held at Makerere University School of Public Health, ResilientAfrica Network (RAN) www.ranlab.org, Plot 28 Upper Kololo Terrace, Kampala, Uganda. Participants are requested to use the main entrance which is opposite the Upper side of the Kololo Airstrip and proceed to the building reception area where they will be directed to the Event venue. Please look out for arrows pointing all attendees in the right direction.
Date and time
The RAN 8th Partner’s Forum will take place on June 20 – 21, with an evening cocktail reception on June 21. On June 23 – 24, we will hold the Resilience Summit.
Events are from 8:00am-5:00pm EAT. The June 21 reception will take place at 6:00pm in the Gardens directly outside of the meeting venue
Travel from the airport to the hotel
The hotels in Kampala will offer shuttle bus service to and from the airport.
Visas can be secured on arrival at Entebbe International Airport if they were not acquired before travel.
Please note that all travelers arriving from all countries are required to provide proof of yellow fever vaccination upon entry.
Travel from the hotel to the venue
We have arranged bus transportation for guests residing in Hotel Africana between the hotel and the meeting venue at 7:30 am and 5:00 pm respectively.
If you miss the bus, you will need to make your own transportation arrangements at your own cost.
Wireless internet will be available in all the meeting rooms. Passwords will be provided upon arrival.
Please note visitors are not authorized to use RAN wifi for unlawful activities such as downloading torrents from authorized sites.
